THE WORK
FARAS unfolds in chapters.
Each region is approached through time spent on the ground, travelling with the horsemen, immersed in the local horse culture. Time spent in conversation with elders, local horsemen, time spent at horse events, and in quiet observation.
These images are not about spectacle.
They are about continuity and documenting something that the world largely ignores, something that might one day be lost in the mess of ‘progress’.
Faras is about honouring the way the horse remains, for now, embedded in work, ritual, movement and identity.
